Photos of the dock being removed for the winter 12-13-2000, Granite Island Light Station
The last trip to the island for the year 2000 took place on December 13th. The dock had to be removed for the winter but ice had already built up on the structure and had to be chipped away to free the dock and ladder from the side of the island.
