Kitchen view looking towards the pantry. What later became the kitchen, started off in 1868 as the wood shed. The archway leads to the pantry then down to the basement. The first photo was taken by the General Services Administration and used on their web site for promoting the auction of the island. Click 'Next Slide' to see steps in the progress of rehabilitation.
